The following is information about how to apply for a particular program and the things you should bring with you.

Applying for School Tax Relief (STAR)

Here are the things you need to do:
1. Basic STAR is available to all homeowners of 1, 2 and 3 family houses, condominiums and cooperative apartments and has no age limit. Enhanced STAR is available to the above homeowners that are age 65 or over with household income of $81,900 or less.
2. You must complete and sign the Exemption Application for Owners. You can view and print this form from ACCESS NYC.
3. Supporting documentation is required to apply for STAR.
4. The application should be mailed to:

              P.O. Box 311
              Maplewood, NJ 07040-311
